Sacred's inner conflicts.

A truth or a lie?

Who to believe?

Since she can think the shining bird was on her side. To her… the bird was her guardian angel. She had no one else to believe in. The bird was always with her.

So many times she wondered, why she had to stay in this cage. So many times she also wanted to see how the world outside looks like. People would visit her and ask, why she wants to stay at such a place imprisoned…

"Listen, child. You have to stay here. If you don’t, you will suffer the same fate as your parents. Do you want that? Stop listening to these sinners, I am the only one you should trust."

She started to grow bitter, when there actually was a person, she really wanted to be with… she wanted to leave, but the bird kept stopping her.

"Don’t you see those thorns? If you leave you will just get hurt by them and most likely die. Hah! And become a sinner like them all… then everything was for nothing. Do you really want to do something silly like that?"

Of course she ended up listening to the bird. She believed in the bird’s word since she can think. How could she have known, the bird was a liar, whose only job was it to make her stay inside the cage for some, to her unknown reasons…

Still she started to question the bird and secretly she was hoping… the thorns would disappear someday and she could leave this place.
